The Open Collaboration feature eliminates the need for Advertisers to search for individual creators they are interested in collaborating with. Think of it as a sort of job board - Advertisers can post a proposal that Creators will be able to view and apply for.
There are three steps to create an Open Collaboration Post. The first is to lay out your collaboration proposal. Here is where you are able to introduce your brand to Creators and add details of what the collaboration will look like.
You are also able to add in what your Ideal Candidate is. This can range from follower size, location, age, and content style. This will be visible to Creators so they will know what you’re looking for before they decide to apply.
Next is the Application Deadline. Creators will be able to apply to your post up until that date. Once the deadline has been hit the proposal will no longer be visible to Creators and they will no longer be able to apply. After setting your deadline you can provide a budget, which is an estimate of what you plan to spend on this specific campaign.
Step two is to set the exact deliverables for your proposal. Make sure that your deliverables match what you listed as your Ideal Creator - if you’re looking for someone with a strong Instagram presence, make sure that your deliverables reflect this.
Last, but not least, it is time for you to review and submit your proposal. Once your proposal has been submitted it will be public and open to applications. We’ll notify you via when a Creator has submitted an application. You can easily accept or deny any application in the Open Collaboration dashboard.
Once you have approved a Creator’s application it will move to your proposal inbox and you can get to work with the Creator.
